#68: No Need for Torment

Note to self: AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! (Charlie Brown style, woo)

Okay, a small update from my "issue" with the CD-RW drive mentioned in this entry. Well, it's no longer an issue, it's become a complete full blown emergency. WIN95 IS NOT DETECTING THE F**KING CD-RW ANYMORE! This, of course, is making me slightly harried. I will not hyperventilate, I will not hyperventilate, I will not hyperventilate, I will not hyperventilate. Well, maybe a little. Hardware detection isn't working on Win95 and I don't feel confident enough to fiddle around with my BIOS setup to see if that's what's bothering it.... Looking through the CD-RW manufacturers homepage for drivers but it is so damned CONFUSING! God, don't they realise how hard they make it for customers to update (or redownload) their drivers when they have a nonsensical layout based on the country you're from??? It doesn't help that my CD-RW was probably created someplace other than the Australiasia-Pacific area, either.

Oh god, I hope they actually still support the make of this CD-RW, otherwise I'll have no choice but to take it back to the shop in order to have it fixed. Grrrrr..... I'll kill the person who sold me this computer. I'll KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL him! But right now, I need to have a good cry. Because it seems the CD-RW is no longer supported by the manufacturer. BAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSTAAAAARRRRRDDDDDSSSSSS!!! YOU SOLD ME A F**KING PRODUCT FROM A DISCONTINUED LINE!!! I WILL MURDER YOU AAAAAAALLLLLLL!!! *sobs*

On the bright side, AAC is coming over tonight, and I'll have a chance to release my pent up frustration upon them. Chainsaw style. @_@
